I watched the video Queen Of The Night,I had to recognize that the singer has an amazing voice and a great ability to recite,but I don't like so much Operas.I prefer to listen classic music without the tenor because I think that the voice covers the melody.
I like armony between the voices and the melody which transmits to me a sense of powerness.In the end I think that I'm not ready to appreciate deeply classic music yet.

I listened to Casta Diva sung by Maria Callas. By the way I don't usually like listening to classical music or opera, but when I listened toher aria I felt some emotions and I shivered.
In my opinion Maria Callas was a great singer that was able to raise strong emotions in a lot of people with her voice and her passion. As a matter of fact I think that her voice will never die, her voice will stand as a mile stone in music history.

I don't totally agree with Mr Bernardini. I do believe that classical music is very passionate, but also in the past operas were committed.
What's more, I don't like commercial music so much, but I think nowadays' music does broadcast emotions. Emotions aren't linked to the quality of music (it nearly doesn't exist nowadays ), but to the images it recalls...

I really enjoyed watching all the other videos linked in the section "Sopranos": not because they are good but because they are very funny. I know the truth. He has THE VOICE: Timo "Cotecchino" Kotipelto (Stratovarius' singer).

Does anyone have a better idea to improve the general idea of music? Do you prefer listen to POP?
Classic, Country and Blues are the only alternative ways in which music can still be called "music". FIGHT AGAINST THE RUMORS! sigh

Classic is not my favourite genre of music; I consider that too slow and, probably because of my nature (I am not a calm person at all), I can not stand that. I can not even understand how people listen to that. For as it concerns with me, a music that does not make your foot beating, is not a good music.
