In this poem the poet described what you can feel looking at a Picasso's picture: child with dove.
The poet starts showing  the picture where you can see a child who is embracing a white dove. The colour white recalls the image of innocence, purity and serenity.
The dove is generally associated with the idea of peace. The white colour is opposed to the brown colour of the earth and of the war that are quoted in the poem.
