I am going to analyze  the first scene from the third act from "Hamlet" by Shakespear.

The scene is a dialogue between Hamlet and his mother: he wants to draw his mother's attention on his father's portrait and on the one of his uncle, who is his mother's new husband and the new king.

He describes his father as a man like a God, a person with great values and a good fighter, and on the other hand, he criticizes his uncle's personality and behaviour... he does not understand how she can stay with him...
