Up to  Hamlet: one of W. Shakespeare's Greatest TragediesUp to task document list
In the extract from the third act of Hamlet, the protagonist and his mother are in his mother's bedroom. They are speaking, and Hamlet is making a comparison between his father portrait and his uncle's one. He represents his father as a man-like-God (he gave him characterizations proper to Gods like Jove other March).

After that he asks his mother how she can love another man, so different and so inferior relative to his father. In fact his uncle (became king after the murder of Hamlet's father) is represented like a villain, a corrupted man and a vice of kings.
