2.1)The mariner is an old man. He has a long grey beard and glittering eyes that capture everybody.

2.2)the ancient mariner was described by the poet as if he was real. He underlined his body very well and the story of the mariner seems to be real.

3.1-3.2)In the first part the poet described the landscape of the town where the mariner sails. In this town there was a church and a harbor and behind them a hill. Secondly the poet outlined the storm-blast. It was tyrannous and strong. The poet personified the storm-blast. it had 2 wings and roared. In conclusion when the storm blocked the ice was all around of the ship. This ice growled and roared and howled. The poet use the personification to compare to noises of ice and of swound.        

3.3)the nature is described in a realistic way and it is personified to a animal.

4.1)albatross seems to be a supernatural character. He has the traits of a god. He is described in a real way but his action were supernatural. He breaks the ice as a god and creates a wind that helps the ship.
