The sonnet is dedicated to a mysterious lady.

a) The aspects of the poet's Mistress which are not idealised are: her eyes, her lips, her breasts, her hair, her cheeks, her breath, her voice and her way of walking.
b) The conventional features of idealised ladies were: shiny eyes, red lips, white breasts, blond hair, red and white cheeks, a sweet voice and she was supposed to float like a Goddess.
c) The last two lines underline the poet's feelings for his Mistress. In particular the most meaningful words are: "love" and "rare"
