Homework pag 187 Words That Speak

2.1 his portrait isn't very detailed, there are only his principally features: the long grey beard and the glittering eye.

2.2  yes, I image him as a true-to-life man. I see him as an old man that wants explains his adventures  to a young man. He is similar to a grandfather that tells a story to a grandson.

3.2 the natural elements which is personified are: the sun , the sea and the storm-blast

3.3 in my opinion the nature is presents in a symbolic way because they were not only "objects" but they became subject of the description. They are as characters that influent the events.

4.2 when the text says " and now the Storm-blast came, and he was tyrannous and strong: he struck with his o'ertaking wings, and chased us south along" I see the most striking part of the text because there is a contrast between reality and the supernatural. The image seems very truth, the reader can image himself in the storm , but I note also the personification of the storm that is tyrannous like angry person that wants to destroys everything he has near him.
