Dear Christina,

I’m really excited; we are going on a short trip tomorrow to York. The bus is leaving at 8 a. m. which is quite early of course. We are arriving at 12 p.m. and we are probably going to have lunch at the Roman Museum Café. In the afternoon we are visiting the museum, and then at 5 p.m. the bus is taking us to hotel. There is an optional dinner at the Browning Pub, but I think we are going to find a nice restaurant near the centre. The next day there is a guided tour of the famous Yorvik Museum of Viking life at 9.30 a.m. and then lunch afterwards is in the museum café. The afternoon is free for shopping. We are having dinner at 7 p.m. at the hotel restaurant, and then at 9 p.m. we are meeting at York Minster for a candlelit night tour of the beautiful cathedral. Our guide, Jeff Reading, is going to tell us the most famous ghost stories related to the building. I can’t wait, it is going to be really exciting! Are you doing anything exciting this weekend? Write and let me know all your plans.

Much love

Sally.
