Communication » 2A Interacting
During the English lesson dated 30 March 2011 it was discussed about the Sarah Scazzi's case and the human psychology in difficult situations.
The Sarah Scazzi case is very famous because the media have been speaking about it for a long time. Up today, we don't know what really has happened. First, Michele Misseri (Sarah's uncle) confessed he himself had killed Sarah spontaneously and so had been arrested on the bases of his admissions. Then he changed his confession and declared his daughter Sabrina had committed the murder. Therefore Sabrina too had been arrested. Naturally, Sabrina denied all the accusation against her. However, they are both still in prison, because we cannot know if Misseri told the truth and we don't even know if his daughter is guilty. This last Misseri's revelation was a shock for Italian people. In fact, Sabrina had been keeping all Italy in her hands, because had been taking part in several television broadcasts despairing and making hypotheses about the murderer before being accused by her father. To sum up, this girl is an enigma. She might be good at playing the part of somebody else, considered that she had been the dejected cousin and friend for a month. She needs to be somebody else because she was jealous of Sarah, and she was aware of the superiority of her little cousin. Jealousy had raised when Sabrina had learned that Sarah liked Ivano.
Normally, when someone is jealous, he tries to hide it. Jealousy is expressed more openly by male people. This behaviour is a remnant of the animal behaviour, as human beings too are animals. Jealousy is expressed more outright by men because they are more aggressive than women (but not all men are aggressive in the same manner). Despite aggressiveness is associated with strength, it is a defense weapon. People are aggressive when they don't know the situation they are in or when they lose the self-control. Therefore human beings avoid these situations to feel at ease. By doing so they can be stuck when they have to face difficulties. A good example of this psychology is the Schepp's case. Matthias's behaviour is a manifestation of weakness and his aggressiveness towards himself and his daughters proved this.
