Page 208 Comprehension:

- They are worried about the attitude of Pamela's master and what he has said to her.

- They have not a good opinion of him. They fear he will bring her daughter to something dishonest on wicked.

- They fear that they are the price of their poor daughter's shame.

- They fear she could be too grateful with him and reward him with her virtue.

- They tell her to leave everything behind her and go back home.

- They don't use it. They laid it up in a rang among the straw of the roof

Interpretation:

- Yes, because at that time the family was very strict. And they are worried about her daughter's virtue.

- No, because I think Pamela is a young girl full of skills, and I hope she will keep her virtue.

- The same event is presented with different interpretations by the use of the letters. The person who writes the letter and the person who answers express different opinions.

- The reader wants to know how the story goes on. He wants to know if Pamela keeps her virtue or not.

- I suppose the master tries to lay a trap to Pamela's virtue.

- I think it is the master who said these words, and I believe the two will get engaged.
