step 1) consider the title and see what expectation it creastes about the possible content of the poem "Just considered the title i aspect the poem something happend in the spring,probably when the spring has just started"

 

step 2)  read the pome at least twice to be sure  to have understood what it is about, look for the new words to be able to translate each lines ,try to find some connection between the content of the poem and the title.

 

step 3)  write the denotative analysis of the poem (in your own words say what the poem is about) "the poem is expressed by a speaking voice in the fist person who says he/she heard the notes of nature while he was sitting in a groove. The speaking voice was in a good mood,thinking of something pleasure when her/his mind was crossed by something sad.

 

step 4) structure analysis(you describe the component part of the text and say what the function of the part is). "The poem consist of six quatrain  it is a stanza made up of foru line where the poet at first provide to the reader the description of the spring landscape and at the last part invite her/him to reflect on the relationship between the nature and man.The poem is partly descriptive and reflective."

 

step 5)  connotative analysis which consist in: -phonological letter all that concernes sound devices:kind of vouels sound,kind of consonant sound , rhyme scheme ,rhythm, assounance and alliteration, pauses and pountuation  and explain the choice that made to add more importance at the context.

 

- semantic level :abstract words,latin and anglosaxons words, semantic field, metaphotic use of word, recurrent word.

- syntax level.
