Text on my New Year’s eve

I’ve spent the New Year’s eve with ten friends at my friend’s Ilaria house: in the afternoon,  we went for shopping and we prepared all the things for the party.

At eight o’clock we had a pizza all together and we spent a bit 'of time chatting around the table. Then, as we had already planned, we saw a movie: “Saw - The Riddler”. At the end of the film we started dancing and the DJ was really good in entertaining all of us, in fact we danced till you drop. My cousin Alice and her friend Ilaria performed in a hip-pop dance and we enjoyed so much their show.

At midnight we all went out into the garden to uncork the champagne and to see the fireworks, just to celebrate the New Year the way we are used to and then we came in and we exchanged greetings and we started listening to music and eating sweets.

When we got tired of dancing we divided in groups and we played various board games and then after a couple of hours it was late and it was time to lie down together with our sleeping bags and sleep.

This New Year’s eve has been special because I spent it away from home and with my friends.
