TALKING ABOUT “L’ALLIEVA”
This book was written by Alessia Gazzola in 2011.
The novel is set nowadays in Rome, Italy. The main character is a young woman called Alice who is at the second year of specialization in forensic medicine. She is very sympathetic, awkward and curious. She always gets into troubles and his professor CC helps her to solve them.
In this book a young woman that she had met in a clothes shop died suddenly, so Alice wants to find out the truth and collaborates with the police.
The story is narrated by a first person narrator and starts with a party where the guests are doctors, like Alice.

I loved it. I think it was a very good read, that’s why I recommend it to my friend Marta, and she loved it, too.
The writing was brilliant, with some difficult words. It made me lough, smile and got angry.
I found it exciting, romantic and funny: it held my attention and I couldn’t put it down.
