I normally ride my bike to work, but today I’m taking the bus. I must to take the bus because my bike stole last night. I realised that someone had taken it after I have found the garden gate open. I am really annoyed with myself because I should have remembered to lock the gate before I went out last night. If I had locked the gate, the burglar wouldn’t have got into my garden and stolen my bike.

the book is called ‘ the lucky one’

it is written by Nicholas Sparks, it was written in 2008 and the story is set in Hampton (north Carolaina). Logan and Beth are the main characters. Ben is Beth’s son and Keith is Beth’s ex husband.

Logan finds a postcard in the rubble during the war in Iraq and he wants to find the person who sent it. After the war Logan goes home to Colorado to his sister, he decides to look for Elisabeth, the person who said the postcard because he thinks it brought him lucky.

Aventually he finds Elisabeth who works with her aunt who owns some dog kennels. He started working with Beth . she has problems with her ex husband. When Beth finds out that their meeting wasn’t casual leaves Logan. Keith molest Beth and Ben runs away and climbs into the river and Logan saves Ben. Keith die. Logan, Beth and Ben decide to stay together.

I liked this book very much and I was happy it had a nice ending. I would recommend it to my friends.
