Family business
A woman from Cleveland, Ohio is taking a furniture store to court. Barbara James, 36, is claiming $50,000 damage after she was injured when she was knocked over by a child who was running “out of control” around the store. The woman claims that Furniture World's staff did nothing to stop the child's behaviour. A spokesperson for Furniture World says the company rejects the claim because a seven—years-old child, Toby James, is actually a woman's son.

EXERCISE N°3 PAGE 243
Hi Bill,
We've been here in the UK for two weeks now and we're having a fantastic time. We're in London at the moment. We've been visiting the famous London sights. We've been to Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar square, the Natural History Museum and we went on the London eye this morning. Oh, and we went for a tea at Ritz Hotel yesterday. It was very nice! This afternoon, we're going to go for a walk along the River Thames.
Before London, we were in Scotland for a week. Scottish Highlands were really amazing and we walked part of the way up the Ben Nevis, which is the highest mountain in the UK.
We're going to Brighton tomorrow for a few days. Hopefully, we'll spend some time on the beach, but I don't think the English Channel will be as the Pacific back home in California!
Anyway, see you next week and hope all's well,
Jim and Pat x
