Considering the title, the reader could understand that the novel has to do with the part of New York, Brooklyn.
The article is organized into seven paragraphs. 

In the first paragraph the writer put the attention on the idea of immigration for the Americans. This sequence gives a positive opinion.

In the second paragraph Robert says where the story start, the reader fails to place the text in a temporary line.

In the third sequence Mr Hanks recounts a short summary about the novel.

In the fourth paragraph the writer told how was her travel and how was her new job.
After that, in the fifth sequence the novel begins to take life indeed Robert told about the meeting with a young men Tony.
Tony changes Eilis's life in Brooklyn indeed her life became really beautiful but then sudden disaster takes her back to Ireland.

In the sixth sequence the writer praises Colm Toibin because he managed not to make banal story because it has added elements that have hysteresis converted this love story different from the others.

The last but not least, the seventh paragraph, Robert explains why Colm Tóibín is a great writer.
He says that nobody can overcome he,  because he possesses clarity, elegance and simplicity while writing.
