THE NIGHTMARE SAIL
Two summer ago I had a boat trip and it was the worst journey I have ever had.
On a nice summer day, my family and I had a boat trip.
We had a boat in the port of Marano Lagunare.
It was a Sunday and we don’t usually go out to the sea on this day because there is much noise.
We left home at around 3 p.m. and we arrived to Marano Lagunare at around half past three.
Afterwards we left the port.
Outside of the port, entering the canal, my dad was driving too fast.
Suddenly, the boat started to turn on itself, causing some damage, then my dad pressed the button to stop the boat.
My mum, my sister and I were all really frightened.
Later, we called the mechanic and he came to save us.
We were really lucky!
No one was hurt and we were back at the port soon afterwards.
