Andy - Well, I’m going to Australia.
Liz - Lucky you! My sister’s over there at the moment. She’s just about to come back actually. I’m sure she’ll be able to give you some tips. When are you going ?
Andy - At the end of October. I’m going to work over the summer until then to earn some money.
Liz - And what are you going to do over there’?
Andy - Well, first I’m going to spend a couple of weeks in Sydney. I’ve got a friend who lives there, so I’m going to stay with him and his family. And while I’m there, I’ll go to the Blue Mountains for a few days. They’re not very far from Sydney. After that, I’ll travel by bus across the country to Perth. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I think it’ll take me about a month.
Liz - Sounds great. Have you already booked places to stay or are you looking to look for places as you go?
Andy - I’m going to find somewhere once I get to each place. I’ll have any trouble – there are lots of cheap hotels. Buy even so, I think It’s going to be a bit of an adventure.
Liz - Yeah, I think you’ll have a great time. And what are you going to do in Perth?
Andy - Well, I’m going to spend Christmas with my aunt and uncle, who live over there. And then I’m going to work in a hotel. The job will start in January. And I’m also finding time to enjoy the Australian summer, of course. I’m going to learn to surf when I’m there.
Liz - And when are you coming back?
Andy - In July. Just in time for the summer back here.
