  • Use the past simple to talk about events started and finisched in the past, where the exact time is important
  • Use time expressions such as when, ago, last week, etc. with the past simple to talk about an exact moment in the past

  • Go has two past participles: been and gone. Been means travelled to and returned. Gone means left and not returned yet.
