In this period the single men’s care isn’t for the salvation indeed men recognize  that material life is as important as religion and god. There were rediscovered human being’s passion and feelings.

Since in the Bible they could not find answer they  seek them in classical; in which the rationality was the speaking voice.

The renaissance spread up in Italy and reach Great Britain only later when classics’ translations arrives.

The English renaissance influenced by Italian one and based on protestant basis and scientific progress focuses on drama and poetry.

Renaissance’s drama developed itself from mystery and morality plays of the middle-ages preserving religious themes but adding renaissance’s worldview and characteristics. Drama has also the function of entertainment.

In these plays there were monologues and soliloquies that developed renaissance’s dilemmas and conflict.
