EXERCISE N°1

• Hi

• Hi, how are you?

• I'm fine and you?

• I'm fine too. What is happened in this days? Nothing special?

• These days I had an adventure.

• What you had?

• I won a trip about a month ago at the lottery... and so I went to holiday.

• Where did you go?

• I went to Venice.

• How many days did you stay there?

• I stayed there 3 days.

• How was it? Was it a nice city?

• Yes, of course. It is very interesting with all the channel and typical house. I saw San Marco's square and other local museum.

• What was the weather like?

• It was so cold and a little bit windy but hopefully it wasn't raining.

• Do you never been there?

• No, I'm not.

• Would you like to go there? I recommended it!

• I don't know maybe in the future. How did you get there?

• I flown from London airport to Venice airport and then I took the bus to the city. There I used taxis or boats.

• Is it very expensive?

• A little bit. But there are some city that are more expensive.

• Was people helpful?

• Yes, they were. They were very polite.

• Now I have to go. Let's see and talk about it!

EXERCISE N°2

• Hello Ben, how are you?

• Very well... you?

• I'm fine thanks... in about 3 weeks is Christmas... I can't believing in it! Do you remember your last Christmas?

• Mmm... Last Christmas I was at my grandparent's house with all my family... we had lunch together and then we played in front of the fire... it was so cool.

• What did you have for lunch?

• I don't remember well... I think typical Christmas dishes.

• Me too... Did you play table games like me?

• Yes, I did... I really enjoy it! And you?

• I had lunch with my family and then in the afternoon I went to my grandparents house for stayed together... there my family and I ate Panettone and Pandoro and played with card... I really enjoyed it too...

• I'd like to talk to you but now I have to go to buy Christmas presents for my friends... see you soon!

• Of course... what do you think to spend Christmas together?

• Why not?

• I'll call you later to according... bye

• Yes, of course... and you?

• I'm fine...

• What have you been recently?

• I've just met a new friend.

• Oh cool... where did you meet him?

• I met him at the bus station, I was waiting for my bus when he arrived and asked to me about a bus for Oxford and I answered to him to followed me because I went to Oxford too...

• How old is him?

• He is about 20 years old... he come from New York and he is there for work... he stay in front of my house... he is very nice and kindly... I've never meet someone likes he... in this days he caught my bus all the morning and so we talk very much...

• Oh it's my phone...

  … yes, no mum, ok, now I go, bye...

• Was your mum?

• Yes, she was... she's asked to me to go to buy some vegetables for dinner...
