Why do contemporary teenagers like selfies?

Contemporary teenagers like selfies because it’s a way to be recognized that’s important to have an identity and not be a mass of darkness. Teenagers take selfies because it’s a trend and although it’s not a requisite for living, someone always take them. Sometimes we take selfies when we fall in love with someone to make them have an idea of us. And with this sometimes we fall in love with someone because pf the idea we have of them. Take selfies is a mean of communication between teenagers that young people like to do and it’s a thing that is changing the way we live and think.
