RECIPE OF CROSTOLI:

Ingridients:

  • 500 grams of 00' flour

  • one glass of brandy

  • 3 medium eggs

  • 20 grams of lard

  • 30 grams of granuled sugar

  • a pinch of salt

  • icing sugar

  • peanut oil for frying

TIME OF PROCEEDING: 30 minutes

DOSES: 30 crostoli

COOKING TIME: 3 minutes

Proceeding:

  • Pour the flour on the work surface and next add the granuled sugar, lard, brandy and eggs;

  • Start working the mix with your hands;

  • Once you obtained an elastic and homogeneous mass, roll it out with the help of a rolling pin, reaching to a hight of about 3 millimeters;

  • With a serrated cutterr wheel formed form many pastry, rectangles of the same size;

  • Cook crostoli in hot oli until they became golden brown on both sides;

  • Retrieve it with a slotted spoon and bake in a paper towel to dry excess oil;

  • Sprinkle crostoli with plenty of icing sugar and serve;

  • Enjoy you meal!
