4b. what would you do in a gap year? Why?
In my gap year I would like to travel round the world to see different cultures and learn new languages. I would like to get work experience and new skills. I would like to improve my communication skills and learn to organise my time because I will be more independent.
7a. Imagining you are taking a gap year. Make notes
Now I’m in England, I’m taking a gap year because I want to improve my English. Next year I want to study in a university in England but first I need to a certificate of my level of English’s language. I haven’t lots of experience until now because I’m very busy to study.

On my first day in New York I would like to admire the Statue of Liberty, go in the Central Park and see the amazing panoramic views of the city from the Empire Statue Building.
On the second and last day in NY I would like to go at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, go to the New York Aquarium and have a hot dog in Times Square.
6. Write a 3-day guide to a major city in your country. Choose three places for each day. Use the article about New York to help you.
MILAN:
Day 1
Start your visit to Milan visiting the Duomo of Milano. It is a church that represent the city, the Duomo takes place in Piazza del Duomo. You can climb up until the pinnacle for have a wonderful view of the city. Then you can visit the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, it is a gallery where you can find many shops. It is also call Salotto di Milano. There are lots of parks in Milan, for example: Parco Sempione and Parco delle Basiliche.
Day 2
If you want do some shopping you can go in Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga. The first is the most luxurious street of Milan. If you are interesting to a Milan’s culture you must visit the famous theatre La Scala of Milan. An other place of culture in Milan is the Pinacoteca of Brera. It is the prestigiousest museum of the city and there you can find the painted of the most important artists.
Day 3
On the last day in Milan you can visit the Aquarium and the Castello Forzesco that take place near the Parco Sempione.
