Dear Alice,

Sorry I haven't written to you recently. How are you?

I'm very happy because Christmas is coming and it is one of my favourite moment of the year! By the way, I would like to invite you to my home to celebrate it together. What do you think about it?

During the day, my grandparents, my aunt and my uncle usually come to my house and we have the traditional lunch together. Now, I'm preparing the menu for this special day. Do you prefer fish or meat? I usually eat fish at Christmas because my aunt is good at cooking it. In fact, we usually have a seafood menu: it consists in hot and cold appetizers, a pasta with seafood as a first course, a grilled fish as a second course and as every year, my grandmother cooks the Christmas trunk. It is very tasty!

So, you can come to my house on the Christmas Eve, we go to the church at midnight to have the celebration and after that you can sleep with me at my house (we have a lot of space, you know). In the morning of the day after, we can open together the presents and you can help me to prepare the dining room for the lunch and finally we can eat! I am sure it will be a perfect day!

Let me know if you can come.

Love,

Sara
