Generally italians are really patritoic, they have a strong sense of belonging to their nation, identified in symbols such as the "Tricolore", the official green, white and red flag, and the exaltation of some of the greatest artist of the world such as Michelangelo Buonarroti and Leonardo Da Vinci. Some people gives much importance to the monarchic years of the Country's history, through figures of kings such as Vittorio Emanuele II. Personally I couldn't care less about being a patriot, the only figures I identify as national symbols are "Partigiani".
