The Celts

From 900 BC the Celts began to settle down in England. They were divided into many groups: they could have been far from each other, but they were united by the same habits. They all used to have bread, stew, porridge and beer and get around on foot or by currach or chariot. Coins they used had been acquire through trade and gift and, as a result, they changed over the years. Great Britain had around 1 million people, but their average life expectancy was 35-40 years, so that many of them came to the 15th birthday without one or even both parents.
