“Yesterday I went to an agency to buy a new house”

A: “Good morning, I’m the agent, nice to meet you.”

M: “Good morning, nice to meet you to. What am I going to see?”

A: “Today I’ll make you visit three different houses in different locations: the first is in the countryside, the second in the city centre and the last one in the seaside.”

M: “Ok, let’s go.”

A: “So, we’re arrived, this is the house, it is pretty big and quite far from the city centre, so around here it’s pretty peaceful. The house has a very large garden, there’s a little fountain and a small pond. Let’s go inside.”

A: “The house has three floors, on the ground floor there are the kitchen, the living room, sitting room, a bathroom and the laundry. Here, in the second floor, there are three bedrooms, a bathroom and a changing room. Upstairs there’s the mansard. What do you think?”

M: “The place is nice, but I don’t like the furniture and I think it’s too big for my family”

A: “Ok, let’s see the second one”

A: “Here we are, this is the flat. It’s not really big, but it’s cosy and it’s in the city centre, so there are all the services. There is only one floor. Here’s the kitchen, small and essential, a big bathroom with an amazing view on the city,  the living room with two sofas, an armchair and a comfortable carpet on the parquet, there are only two bedrooms and there’s no laundry. What do you think about this flat?”

M: “it’s not that big, but I like it. It’s pretty modern in the style of the furniture and I appreciate that.”

A: “Ok, let’s see also the other one.”

M: “Ok”

A: “Here we are, this is the house in the seaside I’ve told you”

M: “Wow, it’s big!”

A: “Yes, it’s really big. This house has a big garden, with a piece of beach, a small harbour and a boat. The house has two floors and it’s huge, inside. Here, on the first floor there are the living room, the garage and a small kitchen. On the second floor there are four bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with a huge porch with the see on the ocean.”

M: “Hold on, I like it, but it’s too big, and I think it will cost a bit too much”

A: “Well, yes, actually it costs really much, but it’s comfortable, not that far from the city but still really peaceful.”

M: “I’ll think about that, and then I’ll let you know”

A: “Ok, goodbye, for now”
