TEXT ON THE FIRST TWO LISTENINGS

The first listening is about how relationships change children personality. In the first years of their lives they are very dependent on their parents, they see the world through their parent’s eyes and accept all their decisions. When children start going to school they meet teachers, new people, develop close relationships and start being under peer pressure. This is really important especially in teenagers, because if they get into bad peer pressure they can start having bad habits but this situations can be coped by their parents by making them know that they are not abandoned.

The second listening in about the teenager’s idea of party and the relationship between parents and sons. In this case the dialogue highlights the trend of joint parties with lots and lots of people and good music; moreover the younger son criticizes his mother for not having a sense of humor like Uncle Rob’s and this wants to make evidence on the family relationship that even if it isn’t always good sons/daughters have to respect their parents.
