GANG OR BABY-GANG

One of the greatest problems of our times is the proliferation of gangs or worse baby-gangs. In my opinion these gangs increase in number because teenagers want to be part of a group. Besides, computer games and TV programmes encourage them to consider crime and violence as something that makes them important. Unfortunatelly, what we hear and see on tv news underline this concept. Nowadays, violence isn’t seen only in the streets but also in the schools. In fact in the news we hear of many incidents of bullying, vandalism, pickpoketing and stealing. Not only among the students but also by students against their teachers. Things become more serious when gang members start using guns because the least offence can give way to criminal actions such as homicide.

What can we done?

The first and most important step to be taken to overcase this situations must be within the families. Parents should be more careful to what their children carry in their schoolbags. Them civics should be one of the most important subjects in the school programmes.
