Someone says students need to take notes in ways that are meaningful for them. The purpose of the present text is to analyze the statement supporting it with argumentations and t ogive a personal opinion about it.

First of all, not everyone would agree studing from the other’s notes isn’t as effective as making your own ones. When you jot down information it isn’t only about a word-for-word transcription. You have to filter the incoming sources, to recognize the main concepts, to write them down using key words and to support them with argumentations. This deeper process makes you study deeper the subject than simply reading other’s powerpoints.

Going on, when you take notes you can text better your comprehension of the subject. You can recognize when you aren’t able to relate concepts so that you can make some researchs and fill in the gaps. On the other hand, when you read notes made by others sometimes you only learn by heart what he wrote, ef you didnt under stand it all.

Last but not least, making your own notes speeds up your studying orocess. Since you have already been focusing on the subject, it is easier for you to recoall the information you had already understood.

Taking into considearation all I said before, I think it is more beneficial for students to take their own notes than to study the other one’s.
