  1. The director used different methods to create the figures of the two protagonists. Let’s analyse them:
  • SANEM is thin, not very tall, slim and really pretty. She has a magnificent smile and her own style of dressing (she usually wears a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and sneakers, but when she starts working, she has to wear a dress and heels shoes). This physical appearance permits to the character to be appreciate by the audience. Another method, the author used, is her behaviour/attitude. She is very maladroit, touchy, naive and that makes her funny! Through her inner thoughts we can understand she is a person that lives in the clouds (as her sister Leyla says) and has got a big dream (she would like to go and to live to Galapagos). We can see that since the beginning, when she goes to work and imagines to dance and sing. The music also helps the viewer to understand better the role of the character. Sanem usually speaks in a quiet and kind manner, but when she discovers her parents want her to marry Muzaffer, she becomes crazy and starts shouting. If she is angry, she uses a rude manner to speak (for example when she talks with Muzaffer or with Mr. Khalil). Most people like her, but her sister and Mrs. Deren, who call her “the other”. Sanem is a genuine girl with a formidable memory.

  • CAN is the other protagonist. He is tall, strong, muscled and he has long hair and a beard. He is a very good-looking man and that makes him appreciated. He is different from others company’s men (such as Emre, Mr. Aziz), because he wants to travel, work with the nature, take pictures and he prefers a large shirt to a smoking. Some think he is a wild and bad guy, but watching the episode you can understand he is a friendly and carful man. How Can behaves, tell us a lot about him. We can see he loves her father and he prefers having a better relationship with Polen. He is very different from his brother Emre because he is modest, very creative and more reliable.

2. I suppose the two protagonists will marry and also Mr. Emre and Leyla will have a relationship. About the agency, I think Can will have some problems with his brother’s ex-girlfriend Aylin, but he will win and become the boss even if his father will return. There will be also some love problems with Polen, Aylin, Muzaffer and maybe others characters. Some roles could change and there would be a new antagonist.

3. The first episode is divided in 5 parts. Every part resumes an important event for the development of the story. The first part shows the protagonists and the reason why Sanem is looking for a job. In the second one, Sanem is taken by the agency and she starts working. In this part Can appears more frequently. The third part is the most important because of the meeting of Sanem and Can during the event of the 40th anniversary. The fourth part shows how Can becomes the boss of the agency. And finally, the last part creates a link with the second episode. I think the most important is the third part because of the kissing scene that will start the development of the plot. In addition, the two protagonists meet and talk for the first time (in the first and in the second parts they’ve never seen one to each other). All these parts have something in common, for example the music, the compares between different characters and the roles of them.
