1. The characterization of two protagonist, (Sanem and Jan) has been created by five methods of characterization. The director of the romantic comedy used an indirect characterization, he shows us things about the character to help us have an understanding of the character's personality and effect on other characters.

   The methods of characterization used for describe two protagonists are the physical description, the action/attitude/behavior and speech.

 

Sanem's character was created mainly through dialogues, they play a very important role in developing a character, because they give us an opportunity to examine the motivations and actions of Sanem.

In dialogues with other people, Sanem is very frank. She usually moves twice without thinking.

The director wanted to underline a very important skill of the girl. In fact, even if she looks like a funny girl with the head in the clouds, she has a very strong memory and never forgets details about something that she has read before.

Sanem is a real dreamer, you can understand this because, in the first episode she says she wants to live in the Galapagos and become a writer one day.

She is a master in taking the trouble to herself. An example is, when in the first episode Sanem promises to Khalil to pay her father's debt.

Another method of characterization used by the author is to describe the relationship among the characters.

Sanem usually get on well with her best friend Ayahan because she is crazy and full of mind; but , at the beginning, she doesn't get on well with her sister Leyla.

Leyla thinks Sanem is an irresponsible and not hard-working person.

In the other hand Sanem calls her sister “The snow queen” because, for her, Leyla hasn't got emotions.

 

 

Jan's character was created trough physical appearance, behavior, and effect on other people.

He is the boss ' son and he's a very attractive man. He is tall e muscular, has got long, dark hair and brow eyes, also he has a beard; for this reason women are fascinated by his beauty.

People admire him for his strong character.
In my opinion the director wanted to represent him as a man of few words but of many facts.

Clothes characterize him because they reflect a lot his personality, he usually wears casual and informal clothes.

Jan used to be a water ball and a free spirit adventurous, in fact he likes nature so much.

He doesn't like city life and for this reason , he leaves his family business behind and lives as he wishes.

He is a famous world-class photographer, he goes around the world and takes photos, he likes going in dangerous places.

 

 

 

2. My expectation about the development of the romantic comedy is that Jan will take the place of the father in the company; but I also think a hostility will arise between two brothers for the command, in particular
   Emre will get angry because his father decided to give the command of the company to Jan and not to him.

   You can see it from the fourth part of the first episode, when Emre discuss with his brother and, then he goes to his ex-girlfriend Eileen, accused to be a spy by Mr. Aziz, to ask her to “work” with him. In the other hand Jan, as promised to his father, will work hard to find the spy inside the company.

   In my opinion the love story between Jan and Polen will end soon because they see only twice a year and, in the third part of the first episode Jan is far from her, also he decides to spend the night with his father and not with her.

   I think Sanem and Jan, after numerous adventures and obstacles will manage to get engaged and stay together.

   When the two protagonists cross their streets, the author wanted to underline this fact by putting a lovely soundtrack  that makes it clear that sooner or later the two will fall in love.

    

 

 

3. The first episode was divided into five parts to make people understand the introduction of the various characters and the most important events.

   The first part of the first episode regards in particular the character of Sanem, her family and Muzaffer.

   In this part Sanem is forced by her parents to choose between an arranged marriage with Muzaffer, a not attractive and stupid man, and finding a proper job.

    

   The second part is set in the company, characters of the company, like Mr. Aziz, Emre, Jan and others are showed.

   Sanem gets the job thanks to Emre because he thinks that she will a very-hardworking like her sister Leyla, who is his assistant.

    The third part is perhaps the most important because it concerns the development of the love story between Sanem and Jan.

   Jan kisses Sanem because he thinks she is his girlfriend, Polen.The two are not seen because the lights inside the theater are turned off.

   Sanem notices only two details concerning the man who kissed her, two very elegant black shoes and a beard. After the kiss, Sanem is very confused and anxious.

   The fourth part focuses on Jan, he tries in every way to find the spy inside the company. Jan and Sanem know each other but they don't know they kissed in the theater. 

   The last part creates a link with the second episode.
