INTRODUCTION OF A SHORT STORY
It's half past ten. Sanem is launching her first novel about her great love story with Can, called “The Albatross”. The director introduces the scene slows-up on the novel's title that comes to the forefront. Suddenly what focuses watchers' attention is a bird's eye view of a flock of albatross, which are flying above the Ocean. In the same sea, in his yatch, Can is docking at the jelly, just back after a long journey along the Italian coast. On the other hand Sanem is thinking of her past with Can. The flashback takes her back to the time when the two characters were carefree and happy together. Their way of dressing and their tone of voice is changed now. The suond effect refers to distant places and times and it creates a sense of lack and nostalgia. What brings Sanem into the reality is her friend Yigit. The view of Can still gives Sanem strong emotions even if it is in her mind. In fact the audience don't understand what is happened although she feels very moved and overwrought.
