MY HOME

The video starts with Zeynep,the main character, that talks with the audience. She is alone and she is reading something. She is talking about what kind of life a person will have: it depends on your family, on your money. Here the soundtrack and the music suggest a sense of melancony and sadness: even if I don’t understand the words, thanks to the music I understand she is talking about something serious and maybe about something she lived.

After her introduction, we see her ,when she was a child with her mom,her father and her father. They were a poor family: her father was a severe father and he worked very hard for earning a bit of money. One day, she was bringed to a friend’s house: her father wanted to give her to this friend, so she would have had a better education, and moreover she would have had the change to go to school. So,when she was a child, she was adopted by a rich family.

Immediatly the director changes the scene. He does a shift from the past, to the present and framing her meanwhile she gets up. We see her going to the univesity, having lesson and then coming home by car, but soomething happen. Infact, some children cast a bottle of screws in the middle of the street and the wheels of her car went flat. Lukily there is a mechanic near to the accident. But before to go inside, she sees an old woman going into a puddled: she goes to the women and she helps her to stand up. Then, the director introduces “The master” the owner, that runs to the two women for helping them. The director used a slow motion when they see each other: this techinque makes us understand that this woman and this man will be the main character of the story.
