HOW ARE THE TWO SCENES DIFFERENT AND SIMILAR AT THE SAME TIME?

The two scenes are different because he’s on a yacht and she’s on a harbor.

However, at the same time, the two scenes are similar because they are near the sea. They are both thinking and they’re dropping something in the sea. She’s dropping a note in a bottle, and the casing of the gift he has just received is flying to the sea because of the wind.

They seem lonely and it seems they’re missing someone.
