DIFFERENZE:

One of the differences between the protagonist is the different economic situation.

Man is certainly wealthy: he owns a yocht and his clothing is casual but elegant.

The girl does not seem rich, but her way of doing seems to be elegant and posed. Another difference between the two characters is the place where they are while one thinks of the other.

UGUAGLIANZE:

In the scene you can see common elements between the characters.

Both are alone, and while they think they are near the sea.

Moreover both scenes are shot during the night.

These elements of the landscape are reminiscent of loneliness: the feeling that both characters feel.

While the man is holding the book, the girl is holding a written sheet of paper and a pen.

When in the scene where there is the man you see the packaging of the book flying in the water, in the scene where there is a girl you can see the bottle thrown into the sea.
