Short story about The Phoenix and the Albatross

It's a quiet spring day in the city, it's 10 in the morning and it's very hot. This morning, in a corner of the square, a presentation of a book is taking place: "Zumruduanka ile Albatros" ("The phoenix and the albatross"). A beautiful and smiling girl is promoting it, she is sitting at a desk reading, to a group of about fifteen people, some chapters of the novel, maybe she has wrote it.
The town is not very large but it is an important seaport for trade and consequently has a big port in front of the square. Now a ship is arriving at the harbour, there seems to be only one person on board, a boy is about thirty with long brown hair, and of great body size. You can immediately see his skill and experience: with two manoeuvres he managed to dock and then he is full of necklaces and bracelets taken in some exotic place reached on his boat. When he arrives, he is welcomed by two boys who throw him the ropes for mooring, perhaps, he is a regular customer of the port. He gets off the boat and looks around, greets another sailor, his friend, and then walks away. Then the other sailor raises his head worried, probably for the weather conditions. Maybe the day will not be very sunny yet.
