ACTIVITIES OF THE PRINCIPLE OF UTILITY:

1. THE DEFINITION OF UTILITY
Utilitarianism is a social, political and economic doctrine in which the most important theorist is Jeremy Bentham. Utility means respect to the community at large and explains a property in any object that tends to produce benefits, advantages, happinesses and reduced pains, unhappinesses and mischiefs.

2. THE PRINCIPLE ON WHICH IT IS BASED
Utility is based on the relation between individual and community, indeed the interest of the community can no be understand without understanding before the interest of the individual: a thing can promote an interest when it adds to the sum total of his pleasures. Then utility is based on the principle that considers the tendency to argument the happiness of the community superior than any it has to diminish it.

3. THE WAY IN WHCH UTILITY CAN AFFECT POLICES
As I said before, the principle of utility can also be connected with a measure of government when the tendency that has to increment the happinesses of the community is superior than any which it has to diminish it.
