In this paragraph I’m going to describe and analyze one of the characters of the Turkish TV show “Early Bird”.

At the beginning, the director introduced the main character, a young girl, showing to the audience the start of her typical day. From this, you understand that she works in a grocery store.

In the first part she’s acting very dynamic and she seems really confident with her work, but the whole scene, it’s almost obvious, it’s not so important, as a matter of fact the director made the video really quick.

The second part differs from the first one because of the change of the screenplay. The main character is still in the store, but the video is quite slow now, and the director did a close-up of her. You can get, in this scene, what the girl’s dreams are, so there is a comparison between what she usually does and what she dreams for the future. The part ends with a rhetoric question, with which the director shows us the way the girl thinks, she appears quite naive and also a big dreamer.

The author starts the third part introducing a new character, a boy, of who you can guess is going to be a secondary character from the body language of the girl. You understand that she doesn’t like him, she looks so scared and annoyed because of his presence in the store. Indeed he’s acting unusual, he seems a self-centered man and very peculiar, and he’s got also weird habits (like going everyday to the store).
From the conversation with the girl, you realize that he’s interested in and involved with her, but she isn’t it back, rather she’s cross and really annoyed.
