1. In inglese nelle frasi “Mangio molto”/”Non corro molto”/”Lavoro molto”, la parola “molto” si traduce in modi diversi:

   I eat a lot. (perché la frase è affermativa)

   I don’t run very much. (perché la frase è negativa)

   I work hard. (perché “hard” si usa on I verbi come work,study, rain, try.

2. La struttura “a little” mi fa capire che devo andare a comprarne, perchè sta a indicare una quantità scarsa, che necessita di essere rifornita.

3. Io tradurrei le frasi “Luigi è così testardo!” e “Luigi è un ragazzo così testardo!” in questo modo: Luigi is so stubborn! Luigi is such a stubborn boy!

4. “Quite” e “rathar” possono essere usati davanti agli aggettivi, ma non vale lo stesso per “enough”:

   The book that I’m reading is quite boring.

   Our new neighbourds are rathar sociable.

   John is enough preparated for the test.

   John prepared enough for the test.
