EARLY BIRD

In the following text I’m going to analyse the setting of the romantic comedy Early Bird.

In the first scene we can note a seaside village with lots of coloured houses. We immediately enter into the protagonist’s bedroom and we can follow her touring all around her home. We are transferred along the streets full of coloured balloons and soap bubbles, where lots of young boys and girls are dancing and singing. The director wants to create a cheerful and carefree atmosphere.

In a second time we are at once into her shop where she usually sells every kind of goods. It has coloured and equipped  furniture which gets us to a familiar sensation.
