The anniversary of Liberation Day in Italy is a national holiday of the  Italian Republic, it is celebrated on the 25th of April every year.

It’s an important day because it’s a symbol of the victorius fight of the military and political resistence by armed forces. On the 25th of April the Allied troops liberetedItaly from the Nazi occupation and Benito Mussolini's rule.

King Umberto II, on the 22nd of April 1946 issued a degree. Since then Liberatio Day has been a public holiday. it's a day off for the general populatio, and schools and most businesses are closed. The Italian flag is usually seen in parades to celebrate Liberation Day. People meet in many pleaces with marching bands music concert and political meetings.

1) Matilda nel test si è dimenticata:

-nella prima frase il the prima di third e l’of prima di March;

-nella seconda frase si è dimenticata il the prima del fifth.

2) Si usa il numero cardinale senza l’articolo quando il numero è seguito da un aggettivo possessivo.

Example:It’s my second year in Italy.

3) In inglese la data si con i numeri ordinali, in italiano invece si esprimono con i numeri cardinali.
