Cinematographic strategies used for Sanem:

  • Music suitable to the scene. It, together with the visual scene, creates a single form of editing: the audio-visual one. Music is also helpful to create suspense. In addition, the director favours the slow music;

  • Scene filmed from the bottom to the top to focus the attention on the character;

  • Use of slow motion to focus the attention on the most important actions;

  • Use of close up in order to highlight the majesty of a character and to focus the attention on the protagonist or on same particulars;

  • Contrast between the flashy colours of the scene and the colours of Sanem’s clothes to highlight her and since the clothes style says a lot about a person and since he uses dark colour, she seems to be a person without a specific identity;

  • It seems Sanem does not feel at ease with the ambient around her.

  • from the different sevens Sanremo appears as a weak character.
