I’d like to tell you about a beautiful adventure  I lived, a fantastic travel with my friends.

Last year some friends and I went to London.

We didn’t have enough money to catch the airplane so we went there by the train. When we had to catch the train I woke up early to get ready to go. Emma and arrived  at the station on time but Carl and Lorenzo weren’t there, so I immediately phoned them.

Two minutes later they arrived and we caught the train. The journey was very long but we had a lot of fun together. We ate the sandwiches which Carl had made for us. Lorenzo and I ate the ones with ham, Carl and Emma the other with cheese. I was so tired so I slept a lot on the train. The boys made their homework.

When we arrived in London, we brought our bags to the hotel. Emma and I shared a double room and the boys too.

One hour later we met in the hotel’s reception hall . We went to the center and there we ate a good ice cream, one of the best in London. We had some shopping, but the boys were so bored so we went to have lunch in a pub. We ate the typical fish and chips but I think it wasn’t very good. At  10 pm we returned to the hotel and we went to sleep.

We woke up at 8.30 am, at 9.00 we had breakfast in the hotel. After that we visited the British Museum, it is so beautiful and interesting. We didn’t visit all the museum because it is very big. We went to a supermarket and for lunch we ate some vegetable and fruit, in the afternoon the boys went to the hotel to sleep, while Emma and I visited Piccadilly Circus. We saw a lot of crazy people that were singing  and dancing along the streets.

In the evening we met the boys in front of an Italian restaurant, where  we had dinner but the food didn’t taste very good! After dinner we returned in the hotel, we stayed in our bedroom for two hours and we spoke about our adventure.

Emma, Lorenzo, Carl and I have  known each other since we were 5 years old. Emma and I are so different but she is my best friend. She is caring, cheerful and very shy. I love spending time with her. The boys are so crazy, they are really nice, and  when I stay with them I have a lot of fun. When I feel not very well all of them take care of me.

On the second day we woke up too late  so we didn’t visit the Science Museum. We had lunch in the hotel, but the food wasn’t very good. In the afternoon I called my mum, she was very worry for me because  I didn’t call ...she is so caring, I love her, she’s my mom!

For the night Lorenzo and Carl booked the  Fabric, the most famous disco where we had a good night but in the morning I had a strong headache, so  in the morning I stayed in the hotel while they went to Buckingham palace that I had just visited.

The afternoon was so great, we walked around the city and we visited Westminster Abbey. I remember that Carl asked to Emma if she would like to be his girlfriend. It was a moving moment. Emma began to scream and she jumped on him so in that moment I looked at Lorenzo and I smiled.

We returned to the hotel and Emma was very happy, she spoke all the time while I had a shower. That evening she went out with Carl and she wore her best dress.

I went to Lorenzo’s bedroom and I helped him to study and after we watched some TV, then  Emma returned and told me everything.

The day after in the hall we met some Italian boys, they were so funny and interesting.

All the day we stayed with them. They known the city very well so they brought us around the city. That day we visited a lot of monuments like, the House of Parliament, the London Bridge and the London Eye.

When we walked along the bridge I saw some buskers playing magic and a lot of beggars, I was so unhappy for them because I think it’s hard to live that life.  My group wanted to make a ride on the London Eye but I didn’t want it so they went on and I waited for them for one hour. Along the street there were some beautiful shops so in the meantime I did some shopping and I bought some souvenir for my family.

Later we went to Harrods the most beautiful London’s shopping center, everything was too expensive so we didn’t buy anything.

We returned to the hotel everyone had a shower and then we stayed all in our bedroom and we played Cluedo. I’m not very well in this game so I played with Emma and we won. We were very tired so we fall asleep all in our bedroom.

In the morning I woke up and I saw Carl and Lorenzo who was sleeping on the floor I began to laugh and they woke up too. They went to our bedroom to get ready.

We went to Harry Potter’s studios, I love it, they are fantastic when we entered I imagined all the film and I had goose skin. It was a fantastic experience.

At the end of the day we visited the famous  Harry Potter’s Platform 9 ¾ at King’s Cross Station.

We ate in a sushi restaurant. It was so funny, Carl hadn’t eaten sushi before that day so It was very difficult to eat for him. Before to return in the hotel we visited London by night. I didn’t like it so much because there were a lot of crazy people, a lot of them were drunk.

Lorenzo and I went to the hotel to sleep, Emma and Carl stayed out.

Lorenzo is like a brother for me so we spoke a lot in the evening, he told me a lot of his problem he was so worried because that year he wasn’t  very good at school and at the beginning of the school year he had met a beautiful girl but she was so dishonest and disloyal. 

I told him if he needed some help for school I could help him for example in math and physics. I told if the girl was like that she wasn’t the correct girl for him.

The rest part of the evening we stayed together and we spoke all the night until morning and we hadn’t realized that the other two didn’t return.

At 8 am we were worried so I called Emma but she didn’t answer me, Lorenzo called Carl but he didn’t answer too.

We got ready and we went looking for them. We went to the place we visited previous days but to no avail.

I called the police to report the disappearance, I was so worried and Lorenzo took care of my and he calmed me.

We went to Westminster Abbey, It was the place where they had got together. There we saw a girl with the some dress as Emma so I ran to her and I hugged her. She wasn’t happy two second later I realized that Carl wasn’t there. I asked her what was wrong and she told me Carl was in the hospital because in the night there had been a terrorist attack. Immediately we caught a bus and we went to the hospital.

On the way my mother called me, she was so worried because she saw what happened on the news.  I told her I was fine but unfortunately Carl was not. We ran to Carl’s room in the hospital. He was sleeping and he had a bandage on arms. The doctor told us that it wasn’t serious but he needed rest.

We decided to return to Italy earlier to bring Carl to his family.

Emma, Lorenzo and I went to the hotel we packed up and we returned to the hospital.

When we arrived Carl was awake and he smiled when he saw us.

In the afternoon we took the plane and we returned to Italy. Emma was unhappy so Carl spoke with her and he told her It wasn’t her fault.

When we landed in Italy our families were there to welcome us.,Carl’s mother began to cry when saw him with the bandage on arms.

I returned home but I wasn’t very happy because I thought it was my fault ...if we didn’t go to London Carl wouldn't have hurt.

That evening I went to sleep early and I remember I cried a lot.

The day before I was upset and I chatted with Carl, Emma and Lorenzo to know how Carl was. My parents tried to comfort me and made me change my mind but I was still convinced I was wrong. They called my friends without my knowledge.

The day after I woke up later, I got ready and I went to the kitchen to have breakfast, my parents and my brother weren’t there.

On the table there was a message , on that paper my mum wrote : “we stay out all a day, in  the fridge there is your lunch and some cola. Remember you are a fantastic girl!”.

I stayed a lot of time on the sofa and I saw  London’s photos that Lorenzo had sent to me the evening before. I spent a fantastic day with them, I love them they are my best friends. I was so happy because Emma and Carl were together and Lorenzo and I were closer together. At 11 am. the bell rang I thought it was my parents. When  I opened the door I saw all my friends were there I began to cry. Carl looked very well. We ate together: my mom had cooked lasagna, my favorite kind of lasagna.

In the morning we stayed in the sofa and we had a lot of fun. We played again Cluedo, I played alone but I didn’t win!

Carl told me that what had happened  wasn’t my fault and he was very happy because everyone considered him a hero!

I think I’m so lucky to have some friends like them.

After this travel we are inseparable and our friendship is reinforced.

In the evening my family returned and my friends told me my parents asked them to come because I didn’t feel well.

We have met every day since that day. We make homework together and we help each other. In the weekends we go to  friends’ parties and have great fun. Emma and Carl are still engaged. Lorenzo is engaged to the girl he likes and ….I’m single but ...I’m happy!
