  • why did Connel decide to go to psychologist? Because one of his friends suggested it

     

  • he was looking for answer about his future / he is afraid of his future / he doesn't have any defined idea

  • what makes his future hopeless? After Marianne departures he lost his point of reference

  • what kind of character is Helen in compare with what Connel is looking for?

  • What makes somebody jealous?

  • How do you express your jealousy? I words? I body language? Do you play irony?

  • Different gender always express feelings in different way ---> men are very weak in compare to women

  • is there a specific way in which Connel expresses his feelings?

  • How does the narrator underline Connel's behavior with Marianne and with Helen?

  • Frequent use of telling in the sequence

  • how do you know that Helen's behavior annoyed Connel?
