6. Il concerto non è mercoledì 11 maggio, ma giovedì 12 maggio .
   The concert isn’t on Wednesday the eleventh of May, but on Thursday the twelfth of May.
7. A: Quando è il compleanno di Steve? B: È il 14 febbraio!
   A: When is Steve’s birthday? B: It is on the fourteenth of February!
8. A: Domani è il nostro quarto anniversario, Christopher… B: Sei sicura ( sure)? Che data è?
   A: Tomorrow is our fourth anniversary, Christopher... B: Are you sure? What’s the date tomorrow?

1. In un test Matilda ha scritto bene tutti i numeri ordinali: My birthday is on third March. / The book is on fifth shelf. Tuttavia la sua insegnante le ha tolto dei punti perché si è dimenticata qualcosa. Che cosa?
   Il “the” prima del numero ordinale
2. Esiste un caso in cui si usa l’ordinale senza l’articolo the. Quale? Fornisci un esempio.
   Quando il numero ordinale è preceduto da un aggettivo possessivo. Es. He is my second child.
3. In inglese la data si esprime con i numeri cardinali o con gli ordinali? E in italiano?
   In inglese la data si esprime sempre con numeri ordinali, mentre in italiano si esprime con i numeri cardinale (tranne il primo giorno del mese).
