10) Ripensa  alle strutture fin qui studiate e rispondi alle seguenti domande. 

 1.A che cosa devo fare attenzione quando devo fare il plurale di un sostantivo che termina in –y? Perché? 

Devo fare attenzione ai sostantivi terminanti in y preceduta da una consonante perché la y, quando devo fare il plurale, cambia in i e si aggiunge –es (es. Lady al plurale diventa ladies), mentre quando in sostantivi terminano in -y preceduta da una vocale si mantiene la –y e si aggiunge solamente –s (es. Toy al plurale diventa toys). 

  2.  Qual è la differenza fondamentale tra italiano e inglese quando si usa un pronome personale soggetto ?           

La differenza principale è che in italiano il pronome personale soggetto è spesso sottinteso, in inglese va sempre espresso. 

  3. Osserva la seguente frase: La Francia è una nazione. Essa è in Europa. Quale errore si può commettere nel tradurla in inglese? Perchè?

L’errore potrebbe essere la traduzione di essa in che she, in quanto essa è femminile. Ma in inglese per riferirsi a cose o animali si usa it, non esiste la differenza tra genere maschile e genere femminile.
