ENTRY TEST - CORRECTED Since I started school when I was 6 years old to the present day, at school I’ve always been studying poems, short stories and other forms of literature.
I’ve always liked it because I love stories and really enjoy every kind of novel, poem, novella et cetera... I find them very interesting because I can see things from other points of view and think about them. As a consequence, I’m often able to figure out that my opinion is not always well-built and that it has a lack of argumentations. Furthermore, I think that seeing scenarios from other points of view allows me to develop some empathy.
Indeed, studying literature at school with a teacher who can offer you different ways to read it with a lot of new instruments for interpretation is very useful and interesting, even if it sometimes requires a lot of hard work.
So, my expectations for this years’ English lessons run in opposite ways. I’m very excited to finally apply the instruments I have previously learned on foreigner texts and learn about a new culture, but I also expect a lot of hard work. |
