Since elementary school I have been studying poems or short stories. I start saying that I don’t like literature so it was difficult for me to study it. By the way I’d always tried to improve my marks.

When I went to Secondary school I stated studying also famous Italian poet, their life and their poems. My favorite one was Giacomo Leopardi because I liked his depressed mood. I also liked Giuseppe Ungaretti and Gabriele D’Annunzio. However I don’t remember anything about their texts. The only that I remember is “Mattino” of Giuseppe Ungaretti.

This year I will be studying literary texts also in English. I have been studying English since I was 4 years old but I haven’t studied literature yet, so I am a bit scared about it. My Secondary school teacher wasn’t as good as the one in the High school. In fact I am very excited because I like my teacher method of teaching and she makes me always laugh during her lessons.

She’s just said that the next week we’re going to have an oral test. What a beautiful news. Now I know what I will do at the weekend.

Back to us, I can’t wait to learn about how to analyze poems. There are a lot of methods of analizing, like figures speech, that I have to study.

I can’t wait anymore.
